Well I got a Flame Angel
Hello everyone. I recently added a Flame Angel into my 55g Reef. I spent the last month or so researching the possibilities of Flames being reef safe. After talking to a couple of people and seeing that they have house one with no problems I figured I would give it a shot. This tank contains SPS(3 different types of montipora, 2 Acros) Zoas(4 different colonies) GPS, an open Brain, 2 Crocea Clams, Flame Scallop, large Carpet, GBTA, 2 sexy anemone shrimp, 2 Skunk Cleaners, 2 Occ Clowns, Hippo Tang, Cleaner Wrasse, and the Flame. As soon as the flame hit the water my hippo tang started chasing it around. The chasing isnt so bad now after a couple of days but the hippo will still go after it. As for the Flame nipping anything I havent seen it yet(knock on wood). All coral has great polyp extension and my clams are opened up nice. I just wish the hippo would leave it alone. No worrys though the Hippo is getting moved into a bigger tank, I just dont like the fighting going on. I will keep everyone updated and I will get some picture later on tonight.

Sounds ok so far, keep an eye on that clam and brain. They tend to nip at these if anything.

Sounds good so far. Mine leaves my clam alone, but destroyed my porites (SPS) coral along with the Christmas Tree Worms inside it.
