If you want to transfer contents over you'll need some kind of stationary tank, like a big rubbermaid bin (or two) along with heaters and powerheads for both.
I'd do it slowly. I'd figure out EXACTLY what I want to do with the new setup first. Then I'd empty the old tank into the rubbermaid containers, wash the sand from the old tank, transfer sand, then rock. Once the rock was done, I'd slowly (over the course of a week) add inhabitants back in. Good luck.

Did you leave the inhabitants in the bins and how hard is it to set everything up and have it running right?
Did you take the old water from the tank and put in in the new one? Thx |
