Hamilton 10K's - Opinions Needed

Hi everyone, I am new here and am in the process of building a lighting system for my 75 gal tank (2 175 se and 2 110 vho).

Can anyone comment on the hamilton 10K bulbs in terms of the quality of their light? I am looking for a nice white light, which I will supplement with vho actinic. The reason I am interested in the hamilton bulb is that I'm buying one of their retros, and I need to choose a one of their bulbs to go with it.

Also, any links to pics of tanks under these bulbs would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this helps - but i have Hamilton 14,000k's and I love them

My tank is a 5 feet long and I only have 2 175w lights - I supplement with 2 VHO 50/50's and 2 actinics - when all the lights are on the tank looks a little pink

Not that big a deal since I'm usually not home when they're on (I run the halides 12 hours and the VHO's for 5 hours)

Anyway I positively love the look of the tank when just the halides are on

I only have photos with all the lights on but except for the stonger red/pink coloring this is more how it looks with just the halides - in person with the VHO's on, it's not very pretty IMO

i use the Hamilton 14K that i mix with PC 10K. Check it out in my galery. you made a good chose, the 10K Hamilton is great.
