Live rock with a Mussel on it. Hmmm
I got a live rock that has a Mussel and a brain sponge on it. The Mussel is about 3 inches long. The rock came directly from the ocean. I read this article and I think the Mussel may not live for long so I was just thinking of taking the poor little guy off the rock and saving him from a long painful death. What do you guys think?
Here's the article. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issu...003/invert.htm |

You would be surprised what will survive. I have one that also came with my rock and to this day it is still thriving.

Wow that's interesting. This article said it would probably starve if I didn't feed it plankton. Thanks.
