E-bay'ing it w/moon lights 55 gallon tank, what ones do i need?

hey all, what kind of moon lights do i need if i have a 55 gallon tank? its 47.5 inches long, should i get a 36" set or a 48" coverage? my tank has a divider in the top so i dont know exactly what I should do, not looking to spend more than $40. Also w/my tank divider in the middle will i have a big blacked out area? thanks!

I am looking into oz reef's plans, the neons look like the way to go instead of the led's. what kind of transformer am i going to need? also i want to put one on either side of my divider so what size do you think ill need in it? i was thinking 2x 14" or 2x 10" blue neons. Also then will i need 2 transformers? or can i wire them both together? thoughts/opinions?

Any old led or night light will work. Don't put too much thought or stress into it. If using an aquacontroller or other with dimming capability you won't be able to use all the functions unless you go with an incandescent style that can be dimmed since led's can't.

check out the oddyseaa i have the 36" on my 75.. it is 48 inches long too... if i could do it over i would go with the 48" model but i dont mind the 36.. it gives dark spots on the ends for some of my fish that dont like the moonlight.. mine cost about 20.. you cant diy for much less than that and it comes in a water proof tube and all wired up.. im very satisfied
