New Juwel 250 Setup
Beginnerish
6 months ago I bought a 37 gallon reef tank! I have managed to keep everything alive so far ![]() Behold a miracle ![]() But now i want to move them to my new tank a Juwel Rio 250 Seens as how I inherited everything in the smaller tank I'm a bit lost as to what I'll need for the new tank ![]() Which was housing tropical fish originally and has a juwel filter but this is no good now right? So seens as I'm blonde I need help please ![]() Thanks lulu ![]() |

I want to keep soft corals and fish in my reef tank
But this light thing has got me beat I just dont get it at all My old tank has two 11k aquablue plus tubes in it Its a retro kit So i need to ditch this and but a new retro kit for a four foot tank? Sorry if these sounds like ridiculous questions Is so what wattage lights and how many do I need? I |

Your tank is 250 gallons but only 4' long? How tall is it?

t5's less expensive, less energy, bulbs last longer, come in 4 foot lengths

Actually, I think MH are more efficient in terms of light output per watt, depending on the setup, but T5s are very good. I don't like the look of T5 setups much, though. Personal taste.
