Identification of "worms"
I have a 55 gallon aquarium at school. I kept the tank full of water this summer to keem the rocks alive. I did, however, drastically reduce the lights so as not to grow massive ammounts of coraline as I did last year (man was that hard to clean off).
As there wasn't really anything in the tank other than the rock (I take everything home for the summer) I decided I was going to do a near complete water change. Inadvertantly, I dropped the salinity for 24 hours to quite low. When I came in this morning. I found these "worms" dead near the front of the tank. What the heck are they? While taking the picture I noticed the big one respondig to touch, so after the quick photo, I placed him back in the tank, added more salt and we'll see what happens. Is it a really big brissle worm that had grown for a long time? http://www.flickr.com/photos/23187093@N00/211787445 http://www.flickr.com/photos/23187093@N00/211787443 http://www.flickr.com/photos/23187093@N00/211787442 |

doesnt look like a bristleworm tho...i cant see any bristles..if you've had the tank up for a while w/no problems then i'd say they arent harmful tho...like w/everything else like this, if you've got 1, you've got a hundred lol...probably anyways.
