How many amps in this equipment

1. 1 inch Seaswirl
2. Maxijet1200
3. Sequence pump 3600
4. Sedra pump for ASM G3 skimmer
5. Rio1700 pump
6. 150 watt heater
7. 250watt metal halide
8. 260 watt coralife 50/50 light

Thanks to anyone who can tell me the amps in any of this equipment. I am interested in the Reefkeeper 2 and the max amps for it is 15. This is a list of my equipment which I plan to hook up to the Reefkeeper 2.

Thanks!
-jeff

I couldnt find any info for the sedra pump so assuming that it uses 100watts or less and your lighting plugs into a 120volt outlet your using slightly over 8 amps

If you can find the power consumption in watts:

Watts / 120V = Amps

+/- fudge values because everything is not the same. Pumps usually less, lights usually a bit more.

So, do you think all of that equipment together will register under 15 Amps?

Yes, as long as nothing else is on the same circuit. IE a plug on another wall, room lights ect. You have a couple amps to spare before I would get concerned.

Remember that breakers are rated for 80% of their load. So, you don't want to load any more then about 12a continuous on your circuit there. Plus motor startup, etc draws more intitial amperage. If you are really only using 8 amps, you should be fine.
