Something used that is rated for at least 150 gallons.
I bought my LifeReef VS2-24 for my 120+30g sump, set it up to be in sump, and it's skimming disgusting dry skimmate when I want it to. Otherwise it can run wet too. It's a great skimmer. I saw a guy selling one a few days ago on the used equipment forum. I'm sure you would be fine with an ASM G4X, maybe get away with a G3, especially if it's recirc and gatevalve modded. There's SO many skimmers that are all very effective. I just wish I had the $$$ to test them all and give you some great opinions. Good luck! |

something rated for 300 g +
i say the biggest ASM you can get your hands on----u got a grand look into deltecs unless you want other things along with your skimmer(read your other thread in reference to 1000 bucks to spend) |
