Sump has crack

As the subject line says, my 29gal sump has a crack on the glass from one end all the way to the middle of the tank... and am getting some drops coming though.

Was planning on draining it and sealing it with silicone. Do you think it is still o.k. to use it if I seal the inside and the outside??

Thanks

Maybe????? Any pressure and the crack will expand. You might consider just cutting away the cracked glass and replacing it.
