Starpolyps??
My friend gave me a rock that has some purple like structure on it and coming out is a green star shaped polyp. Any know where in my tank I should have it. I have a 95 gallon w/ t-5 lighting.
I had it in front of one of my powerheads and I think there was too much current for them. After the 3rd day most of the polyps were out and then by the 4th day only a few were out. I know these pices are fragile and I do not want my piece to die. Any suggestions on where to place this in my tank. Thanks |

How many watts is your T5? I would say that you can keep it anywhere in the tank where there is moderate flow. You are talking about a 10gl reef with a T5, right?

IMO...depends on how fast growth you want.....
put as close to the light as you can for a quick growth rate....and not too much flow..in-direct flow is best |
