90 gallon reef tank fish stocking
Hey all,
Please take a look at the stocking ideas for my 90. Feel free to tear it apart, offer suggestions, whatever: 1 Yellow Tang 2 Percula Clowns 1 Blue Mandarin 1 Hippo Tang 3 Lyretail Anthias 1 Red Head Fairy Wrasse any ideas/suggestions/criticism? Thanks

Those are all good except with the mandarin fish, you need to have a lot of pods growing and with all those fish it won't happen. Also I have a 92G and I have a yellow and a hippotang. Make sure you get them small because they will eventually outgrow the tank. So if you get them small it will take a looong time for it to happen. If that is going to be a reef you really have to keep up with your water quality because it is a lot of fish.

I have no worries with the mandarin, I have 90 something pounds of live rock and planning on adding more. Yeah I am not sure about having all of those fish, but that's why I came here. I knew I could get some good opinions here.

I would be concered with the anthias, it is better to have a larger group as the male enjoys showing his dominance over them. By the time u have enough the tank itself would be too small. It would be better to just have one.
