Typhoon III owners - measurements?
Would one of your Typhoon III users do me a favor?
I need to know the exact measurements of the system - I wrote to their sales team and all they would give me was the measurements of the box that it ships in. This somewhat turns me off of their customer service - but I thought I would ask here if someone could give me the actual measurments of the product. Where I need to install it is a rather tight space and I want to make certain that it will fit. Thanks in advance! -Amb

There has to be a Typhoon III owner with a measuring tape out there somewhere?

OK. Mine is mounted to the wall. The filter canisters are mounted to a frame with holes to mount it on a wall. it is 18 in tall, 24 in long, and 6 in deep. It was easy to install for me as it was basically assembled when it arrived. I had to place a couple pieces of tubing and that was it. My set up is a little easier than some since it is mounted right above my washing machine in the laundy room. I ordered the "Y" attachment to connect to the cold water to my washing machine and just ran the waste water hose to the existing washing machine drain hole in the wall. It took about 30 minutes to hook up. After I ran the unit for an hour and then tested the new water it read 0 TDS. My tap is around 60TDS.

My pleasure. FYI I ordered mine through Airwaterice.com. I had a couple of questions during and after the installation and "Walter" responded right away. Overall it was a great experience with them.

Good to know - that is important.
I have now decided to buy from them - I will likely put my order through tomorrow. Thanks for your helpful information.

I have a Typhoon III, too (before they added the pressure gauge and other options) and like it very much. The price is very reasonable and the components are the standard-pretty much the same as the bigger reef companies.
I'll usually get my replacement cartridges from them as well, sice the prices are good, especially when you buy the multi-packs. James
