Lighting
I have a 30g cube tank with 110w cpf. When I start to cycle my tank how long should I leave the lights on for? The tank will have live sand and very nice live rock. I plan on using a shrimp to cycle the tank.

I would leave the lights on for a full photo period 12 hours, just becuase I dont like looking at a dark tank. You also want to light your tank to get stuff to grow nicely on your liverock. Leaving your lights on for much longer will just cause unwanted algae to start to grow.

Just set up your normal light schedule (about 10-12 hours) and go for it.
