What do you think of the new Aquafuge 2 HOB Refugium?
Do you like the new design?
Did you get the CPR lights as well, do you like the build quality? Thanks, |

you mean the black background? totally needed. otherwise the light from the fuge would go back into the tank.
CPR build quality is very good, ime...and they have given me good customer service on a couple issues in the past. I like to support them because I have had really good experiences with a couple of their products. Just saw the aquafuge with the protein skimmer at my lfs and it looked like it was working well. |

Thank you 55kfog,
Ended up ordering one of these new ones Aquafuge 2. The side adjacent to the tank is black acrylic, the build quality looks tremendous. Looks solid and bigger than I expected. Have not set it up yet, waiting for completion of my stand. So far I'm happy with the build, the CPR lights as well. |

Nice! I have heard that the refugium works best if you dial the flow down just a bit and allow for a slow flow through the refugium (more reaction time). Best of luck!
