Georgia Aquarium tips wanted

My wife and I are planning on visiting the Georgia aquarium We were hoping some fellow reefers could provide suggestions in terms of close (good) hotels. Or if there were any good deals at the aquarium (i.e. backstage passes, VIP passes, etc) we should look into?

As a side note, I might want to look at some fish shops in the area so any of those suggestions would also be appreciated.

Can't wait to go, there have been soo many excellent pictures posted. I think we will be buying some new lenses so hopefully we can contribute some awesome photos after our trip.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites Hotel at Centennial Olympic Park. It was very nice and walking distance from the aquarium.

The Embassy suites are a little pricy but we will definitely keep them as an option.

Thanks!

I don't know. A friend of mine works at the aquarium, so I may be able to ask him for you.

I would also suggest getting to the aquarium as soon as it opens because it will be absolutly jammed if you don't

Amphiprion:
Excellent, if you could get some info we would greatly appreciate it!

Hopestar075:
I googled both of those shops and have the addresses / hours so we will try to get them out.

We will have to peel ourselves out of bed then I'm sure we would be happier going earlier when it wasn't crowed.
