what are your thoughts of a skilter filter??
I have a 30G hex and I was wondering if a skilter filter was worth buying?

Don't even think about it. I can't believe they are still making these -- my LFS talked me into buying one in 1996. It's junk

yeah I second that I had one back in 1997 or maybe even earlier, they are noisy and way outdated. I'd bet you can get something way better for a few more bucks, even try your local reef club on RC and see if someone has a better one thats used for the same money?

These things were junk ten years ago and I can't beleive they are still around. worst skimmer ever!!!!!!!!!!
