PCX-55 enough for two injectors
Hi folks,
Simple question for those experienced with beckett skimmers. Is a GenX-PCX55 a powerful enough pump to run two beckett injectors? I see on the My Reef Creations site, they have the pump as an option for the MR3, but don't specifiy if that's with a single or dual injectors. Thanks, Ron

I ran one on a dual set up with about 18" of head. It did OK. I would have had much better luck with a bigger pump.

I just bought a dual beckett skimmer and the manufacturer recommends 2 PCX55 pumps.

Yeah, I just removed one injector and I believe the skimmer is running better on a single injector powered by the PCX-55 rather than both injectors powered by the single PCX-55.
I guess everybody does say these skimmers suck up energy to run! Thanks, Ron
