I used GE 1 Bath / kitchen on my sump. cured for 3 days. Ran my sump in my FOWLR and my fish and shrimps are messed up (eroding fins, gasping/ gaping... shrimp arent moving) after 24 hrs. I stopped the sump flow and added carbon. What is goin on? HELP

That's why I don't take any chances.... Instead of trying to search for one that is safe, I come home from work and find it here,,, being shipped from 'petsolutions, or 'Bigals'. I just order a tube or 2 when I order every now and then... Always keep them on hand. Never had a problem!!

GE 1 has algacides in it (which used to mean mercury, but I have a feeling they have substituted something else in it).
Get the part number off the tube and search on the internet for that part number and the phrase "MSDS". This could let you know some of the additives in the silicone.
