how to rid rock of bristle worms and hydroids?
I will be setting up a custom 44 gal tank soon for my sea horses.
I wanted to try to get rid of these pests before i transfer everything. These hydroids are not the tube type. They look like very small aptaisa. They are not app. though. so any suggestions would help! |

Why would you consider a bristleworm a pest?

first I would use tweezers to get them out, but there are so many of them in so many crevices it is hard to get them out.
Also I consider them a pest because they are in my seahorse tank and the seahorses can be stung by them. If I fresh water dip the rock before my tansfer do you think this would rid them from the rock. |
