55Gal SPS/LPS, use what method for Supp.

Hi all,

For a new 55Gal mostly SPS. What method should I go with to supplyment the Ca and such? My other equipment is Aq Jr controller and Tunze top-off. I still have some Kent liquid reactor and liquid supplyments from my old set up. Should I just keep using them? Or get some type of reactor?

PLMK
Thanks

You could use one of the two part alkalinity and calcium supplements such as Bionic for a tank that size. If you tank gets really packed with SPS it may become costly to use this type of supplement. There is a homemade recipe out there for making your own two part supplement for a lot cheaper. Eventually, you may want to consider a calcium reactor down the line but that is a costly investment. I use Bionic for my 65gal mixed reef which houses some SPS and a clam.
