Red Grape Caulerpa Macro Algae -- Are they safe?

I was thinking of getting the Red Grape Caulerpa Macro Algae but I don't know if it is safe in the reef tank. When some parts of it die, does it produce any toxic material? Does it over grow the tank fast? What will eat it?
