Question Thin white 'filmy' stuff in my fresh-water test?

I've finally got my 125 reef all plumbed, and have been running fresh water through it for a few days checking for leaks. Now there is this 'white filmy' stuff on inside of the vinyl tubing, and on the silicon in my DIY sump. Rubs right off, and floats away. Any idea's what this stuff is? Is it from the silicon I used? Yes, it was aquarium silicon. Did I spread the edges too thin? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!
