For a 125aga mixed reef what do you guy's / gal's recommend I'd rather go of personal experience than website recommendations, thanks in advance

snails, sand sifters, and hermits. I agree, snails more then hermits.

I would start with 20-40 snails of a variety of types (turbos knock over too much stuff to be useful IMO) and 5-15 hermits. Add a couple of sandsifting stars and a donky dung cucumber. then, if you keep having an algae problem, add stuff that targets that type of algae.
