furniture protection?

I just recently bought a 8 gallon coeanic biocube and was wanting to put it on my dresser.. I do not want to scratch my dresser or anything else because it is new furniture so what can i do to protect it or should it be alright?

You can get a glass top cut to the specifications of your dresser. That would help protect against any possible scrathes and water leaks

Heh, I guess you could get one for just under the tank, but i would find a local glass company that can round the edges for you.

If the tank dosen't scratch it, the raw edges of the glass will. Also if there's a spill, the water can get under the glass if it isn't cut to ft the entire dresseer top. I have a heavy glass top over my kitchen table, 1/2" wider than table al the way around and with rounded and beveled edge. I can get anything on the glass and it won't get under it.
