Cyclopeze Questions

How in the world do you add this to your tank. I have been taking some water from the tank and then adding it to the tank. Is there another way.

Sorry, its the freeze dried. If I don't mix with tank water it just floats on the surface and gets sucked up in my overflow. I keep hearing that major color enhancements can be expected from this product. Has anyone noticed this.

i just mix it in with some tank water ... target my corals with a baster and dump the remaining water in the tank.

I noticed a HUGE difference in the health of my fish...specially the small guys. My corals did really well too....I have had a slight demise in them since I ran out...oops! I just mix it with tank water also and feed it about 10 mins later... I use both frozen (mixed in to my frozen food mix) and freeze dried.....

I keep a small plastic container for this purpose. I scoop alittle tank water into it, add the food, let it sit a few minutes and then dump it into the tank. Works great and my tank loves it.

I put about a teaspoon in a 3 oz cup of tank water. I use a 10cc syringe without the needle and spray individual corals. My Zoes, leather and open brain all love it. I try to feed once a week. The fish love it too.

From the instructions on the frozen container, a little bit goes a long way. I think for the frozen cyclo mixed with phyto, 1 pump is good for 55 gal. every other day or something like that. I would feed maybe a pinch or 2 of the dry stuff every couple days.

A little goes a long way. I use about a 5ml portion (frozen) mixed with Selcon. Fill a teacup with tank water and turkey baste it in the tank. I spot feed the corals, then squirt some around the tank in random places I was the fish to swim. I turn my controller to "feed" mode (which turns the pump off for 5 min) and after 5 min, there is still a bunch left over that the fish didn't eat. I think I overfeed!

I use about 2 teaspoons each time I feed. If you overfeed, just like flake food it goes to waste. When I feed, the pump is off on the tank for a 1/2 hour or so. The cyclopeeze floats about and doesn't get immediately pumped into the overflow. You will have to experiment with how much is right for your tank. I have a 135 gal that is full of Zoes, shrooms, and assorted other softies.
