120 gallon ?

need help I have the chance to buy a 125 gallon tank Used 72x18x22 or would it be better to get the 48x24x24.
what are your opinions on the 24 inch front to back as opposed to 18inch ?
bennifets?
Just looking for some direction

IMHO I don't think you can beat 24" depth. I would go with the 120g

I have always felt that the wider you can go on a tank (front to back) the better. IMO it gives you more options for aquascaping.

The last reef tank I had was 18" wide. The current one I'm building is 32".

Go for the 24" front to back, man. You won't regret it.

Well, if you have the space for a 125g which is 6ft long, then go with a 180g. That way you get the best of both worlds, It's 6ft long and 24" wide (awesome)

or if you have the room you can get both the 125 and the 120 thats what i did.
