Oceanic mega overflow
I'm thinking about getting a new tank. Oceanic has a 175 gal (60x24x29) I'm thinking about. Now what is a mega overflow versas a regular one? Alo tell me the better choice corners or one larger overflow in the back. And having it drilled for the closed loop. Were is the best place to put the returns and intake?

"megaflow" is just their (oceanic and AGA) tradename for their overflows. Older AGA tanks used a rounded corner overflow, and older oceanics used a rectangular corner shaped overflow.
Personally I prefer to go with corner overflows because I don't like the way the megaflows are usually located - seems to interfere with good / logical light distribution. If you want corner overflows you can look for an older aga or oceanic tank, or just get a regular tank and drill it and install custom overflow boxes. There is at least one site out there that sells premade overflow boxes, but I don't have the link. Otherwise anyone with very basic acrylic skills can easily make one for you.

I like the corners too. I have an Oceanic as well. You can order them anyway you want them. I ordered a 90 with 2 corner overflows. Takes about 6 weeks to get. I ordered it through my LFS. Never had a closed loop.
