adjusting corals to MH lighting

Old light: 96 Watt PC dual actinics, dual daylight
New Light: 130 Watt PC dual actinic, and 150 Watt 10000k MH
Tank Depth: about 19 inches
I am wondering how I should adjust my corals (softs and LPS) to the MH lighting. I have heard of the screen layering method, and of raising the light way off of the water, What has everyone else done? Planning on starting out with a 10 hour supplamental one hour MH photoperiod, how fast should I bump up the light? Tanks for the help.

Go at your own pace. Watch the corals. If they start to retract, close up, or otherwise look unhealthy, then back the light off. Whether you do the screens, time length, or height off the tank is up to you.
