trouble with MH balast?

250W EVC Tech Electronic Metal Halide Ballast
purchased about 8 months ago.
about 2 weeks ago I started noticing that the light wouldnt be on when I arrived home every 2 or 3 days. So I started watching more closely and basically both lights would come on every time but one of them would go out about 2 minutes after it came on.
I switched the balasts on the pendants and the same would happen with the other bulb. which tells me there is something wrong with the balast.
This problem now occurs every time with this balast and I cannot keep this particular bulb burning at all.
any suggestions of what might be the problem and what I can maybe do to solve it?

if everything is wired correctly,and your not having any issues with your power,then you may need to replace the ballast.check to see if you have some sort of warranty on your ballast.
