Question Seio 1500 and feeding

Is it ok to turn off these pumps while I feed? I have 2 1500 runniong on a 180gal. They work great its just that the food just blows away and its impossile to feed my corals. I heard that they dont re-start after you turn them off. What can I do?

I have two Seio's on a switch in my tank. I flip the switch every time I feed and they have never failed to restart in over a year.

i also turn them off and they always restart, although they do "grind" for a second.
