Enough light for corals?
I have a 36" Coralife light with 96 Watts of 10,000K and 96 Watts of True Actinic 03 Blue in a 46 Gal tank.
Is that enough light for some fish and soft corals? |

depending on the depth of the tank, that should be enough light for most softies. I have run dual 65w 50/50's over a 36 bowfront that is around 20" deep, with pretty good success

I had the same fixture before, except it was 48" on my tank and I had no problems. I even had a couple of LPS at the time (slipper coral and flowerpot and both did well.
Being 36" I imagine your tank wouldn't be too deep. |

Yes that should be fine put the more demanding corals up high and you will have great success.

YOu will be fine . Stay away from the SPS corals and your good. The SPS need the MH lights. Most of your LPS and softies will do vry well if not better w/o theMH
