heaters
Are there any 100w heaters out there (under fifty bucks) that have a true thermostat in them where if the temp goes below a certain degree it turns on? Or do you just need to mess with them to find where your heater works best.
I bought a hydor heater and it has the degrees on the knob but I had to set it ten degrees below actual temp (two thermometers) to get it to turn off and regulate. I called the hydor company and they said that this was normal because I was on the lower end of the heater's rating. grrrr Why put temperature graduates on there if they don't mean anything???!! very misleading. What do you think? |
