Update on Tank
I added two clownfish last weekend. Here they are enjoying their new home. I also couldnt resist the harlequin sea star the LFS showed to me so he is in there too. He hides under the rocks though and only sticks his arms out to grab food when I feed. I will be adding a cleaner shrimp in the next week or two. I removed 5 of the blue legged hermit crabs, I had 10. I also added more shells, so far they have been leaving my snails alone, so I will see how it goes with the 5.
I am almost out of the Kents Nano Reef parts A & B supplement. What does everyone suggest as a good supplement for my tank?

Looks nice,
You might wanna remove the Macro Alage thats starting to grow, I left mine and I wish had removed it. Spreads real quick once it gets a good foot hold. |

Just curious...what are you supplementing for? You don't have any corals. I have a 10g reef and the most "supplements" it gets is regular water changes and it does fine.
And what's a harlequin sea star? I've googled it and looked on liveaquaria and can't find anything on it.

I kind of like the look of the macro algae... is it harmful? I guess I dont want it to overtake my tank though.
I think the sea star is the same as a Fancy serpent sea star, they look pretty much the same. The LFS called it a harlequin. I was supplementing to add calcium for the coralline.

I see...do you know what your calcium level is? I have never added Ca to my 10g and I've got coralline popping up all over it.

Yeah, you should. I try not to dose anything I can't test for. Natural seawater is supposed to be around 420, so you would shoot for that. Most of the time, your newly mixed SW will get you pretty close to that. There are varying levels per brand of salt. For your tank, if you're wanting to dose a 2 -part type of thing, you could look at the B-Ionics 2 part.
