Shrimp eating my zoanthids?!
I bought a large skunk cleaner shrimp from a LPS a few wekks back and just noticed he's eating my zoanthids?! If hes not eating them, hes at least tearing off the frills of some semi closed ones - anyone else ever see this? I have never read about these shrimps being any danger to corals before.. is this normal? how the heck do I get him out of my tank!?

Never heard of that. But, then nothing ever surprises me in this hobby. To catch it, use a water bottle, cut off the the top just as it meets the body of the bottle and invert the neck into the bottle and put some food in there. Should do the trick.

Candy stripes will often eat corals, but the larger ornamental are better known for damaging them as they tear them open for food.
If there isn't enough food for the shrimp and the zoo or any polyp grabs a piece of fish food, the Cleaner or whatever species merely has to tear open the soft outer layer to retrieve the food particle. Make sure you're feeding the shrimp something of substance and not just flake or other substandard foods.
