Spiny Issues?
Hey all,
My black long spiny urchin seems to have eaten one of the heads of my Hammer coral. It was sitting right on top of it. Is this urchin going to be a problem??? I was told (and have read) that they are not a problem with corals.

Sometimes urchins seem to need some protein in their diet. This animal might be prone to more destruction. Getting it some meaty food from time to time might help.

Shouldn't be but stranger things have been noted; most likely the coral had perished and the urchin was taking advantage of an easy meal.

The hammer has only been in the tank for about two weeks. It had two heads on it, one was pretty large and the other pretty small. I hope that was the case! I really like the urchin and would hate to have to get rid of it.
