new Return pump

At the moment I have a rather cheap return pump that does not seem to be working too nicely anymore on my 65. I am looking for an external pump this time, it has to be quiet! that can power 2 outputs. The pumps output should be somewhere around 1000g/h.

What do you guys suggest.

I am hoping to use the pump to replace some powerheads in my tank.

Can your overflows handle 1000gph or will you have a flood in your house? I love my Eheim 1260, but I think this is a little too strong as a return pump for your 65g tank.

Any idea how to work out if my overflow can handle it. The pipe diameter is 40mm.
