I am looking for a RO/DI unit approx. 75 gallons a day. Hopefully for under $150. Any ideas?

Currently I have a 24 gallon per day unit, a simple Kent Marine RO unit. If I bought a 75GPD and a line pressure of 60PSI will I get 75 GPD?

Depending on water temperature is entirely possible. Here is a link to Dow Filmtecs graphs showing the effects of pressure and temperature on RO output.

How can a person get 77 degree water if they plumb their filter in with the cold water line?

You can make a mixer valve but have to be very careful you don't cook your membrane. Hot water will make quick work of your membrane and is a danger.

Thats probably one of the few advantages to living in Phoenix. My water temp varied between 78.1 and 80.2 yesterday when I was making water. Between the heat and the fact they bury our water services pretty shallow since there is no frost line we get pretty warm water. I suppose its not so good in the summer though as you can't take a cold shower!

We had very warm tap water temps this year but are already down to 58 degrees and go down to the fortys by winter.

Believe it or not our coldest water temps are actually in the summer when they switch the outlet from Lake Pleasant, our local impoundment, to the bottom outlets for better water quality. I have seen temps drop to the mid 50's at that time. Otherwise its in the 70's most of the year.
