Does your GEO leak?

need to upgrade the calcium reactor- the Schuran I have is a bit underated for my tank

Considering Deltec, H&S and a larger Schuran but keep hearing good reviews on the GEO.

So has anybody had any build issues? I've kinda tried to stay away from the nylon screw/keyhole slot lids- they seem to leak alot. From what I see that appears to be the only "flaw" with the GEO .. . so whose reactor leaks?

Mine leaked a little bit when I first set it up, but I didn't want to torque anything down too tight. The sweet part about the GEO is that you can see the o-ring and make any adjustments. I tightened everything down as you would an intake manifold or a head (gear head stuff) and just kept going round and round until the leakage stopped. Not that I had to put a gorilla grip on the wrench, I just wanted to take small steps (no torque specs!)

i only buy geo calcium reactor's for their ease of use, plug and play, easy installation and startup and more time to enjoy your tank. i have never had an issue with leaky geo's, they are my first choice when it comes to reactors, hope this help's...also one more thing they are top notch, great construction and an affordable price for lots of punch! they are very affordable and stand up right along the other reactors that cost an arm and a leg and do the same thing. good luck in your choice.
