Is this Product any good?
hello, I was told by a guy at my LFS that this is good to use when you just have to use tap water in you SW aquarium, like if you dont have any RO water and your tank level is maybe 1 or 2 gallons low you just put a few drops in the tap water and it makes the water alittle safer to use then when it first came from the tap, is that true?

Yes, it will detoxify chorline and chloramine, which if you're using tap water is a must, but beyond that doesn't do much. It does also contain a sliming agent which can be problematic for skimmers (which will try to remove the sliming agent rapidly and overflow

It removes chlorine/chloramine as stated above, but it doesn't remove other bad things in tap water (phos. nitrates. etc.)
If you use RODI water, then you won't need this.

Tap water might be OK for a FO tank, but it looks like you have a mixed reef... I would suggest using RO/DI water.
Also, most saltmixes have dechlorinators in them, so this wouldn't be necessary.
