Skunk Clown Fish

I bought a few fish at the LFS...and to my suprise there was a SKUNK CLOWN added to the bag which i didn't buy. I've read that they are ANENOME dependant.....is this true because i don't have any anemones in my tank

No clownfish is truly dependant on their host anemone.
