Coraline algae

Once I had a softie tank and my LR was a deep purple with mushrooms everywhere. I converted over to a SPS tank and went barebottom back in March 06. Changed the lighting from VHOs and PC to MH and puchased some SPS coral frags. The algae is Lht pink now and all over the bottom and the back and grows fast! My SPS have been growing too, Why the Light pink coraline algae?

My readings are:
Alk--9.5 to 10
Ammo--0
Calc--400- 420
Phos. --0
Nitrates < .05
Nitrites--0
Ph--8.2

I dose with the 2 part Bionic (Daily) Kent Marine Coral-Vite , Julian Sprung Reef Iodine and strontium concentrate as per the directions (weekly)
