Question skimmer placement????

hey guys, i just got a refuge and skimmer, but the only space for the skimmer to fit is on the outlet port. i seen some things saying that the skimmer should be placed before the water goes through the bio-filter, is this really a problem or will the skimmer work fine where its at??? thanks for the help.

You may not get as much skimmate but every tank is different. On my fish-only tank I run the skimmer after the bio-filter and it still does well. IMHO, I would not worry about it too much. Try it out and see. If you don't like the production try switching locations, if possible.
