Substrate cleaning question.
I have some hair algae and other types of algae on my substrate and i have tried to purchase turbos, trochus, mexican red leg hermits, yet the only thing that seems to touch the sand is the red legs. I really dont want to buy any more hermits because i like my snails! And they are not going to be made into dinner. What is the best animal to clean this ugly stuff off the sand??

you could look into some sand sifting stars, or there are some blennies that would do the trick also.

you may want to try and fix the problem rather than just adding critters to try and eat it at an even pace
