Interesting Tang and shrimp
Every week or so, I have to scrape my glass to get rid of some algae. I have noticed some new behavior in my tang. He now swims up to my hand and waits for me to start scraping. Once I scrape, he just waits for the clumped up algae and has himself a fiest and eats most of it. Is this normal behavior? Just seemes kind of strange to me. I also give my tank mysis every other day. My cleaner shrimp also loves to jump on my hand and "clean" me so to say.

It is normal and one of the cool things about this hobby. Enjoy....

my cleaner shrimp will jump on my hand as well. He definately has a crazy personality. He goes nuts during feeding time. When I feed I'll dip a glass in the water to get water out to fefreeze the food in and he'll sometimes go crazy and start swimming all over. Sometimes he'll even swim to the top and walk on the water upside down. Definately nuts.

Are you giving your tang any nori(seaweed)? They do need more than mysis shrimp in their diet.
