Power Outage...Now what???

Hey guys, there was a power outage in my area. It has been 4 hours since it went out and still hasent come back on. Will my stuff be able to survive (LTA, squamosa, softies, sps, leathers). How long do you think they will last with just a small portable air pump with an air stone in a 75g?

Go get you a battery and and a power inverter. That will help you run what you need... Just make sure you put on old towel under the battery! Just my 2 cents

i have no idea but i have heard of people going a day or 2 without any real problems. water temp is the biggest issue IMO.

Depending on where you are temperatures may be the biggest problem. As long as your tank is relatively clean and not overstocked it will be fine. I have had my tank go 1.5 weeks with no power after a hurricane. Everything wasn't very happy with the experience, but I didn't lose anything.

depending on how often you lose power and for how long , the long term solution is to get a power generator. if you lose your power less than once a year the the battery backup with power inverter is the cheapest way to go .

I have three battery powered air pumps that come on when the power goes out (which happens often in Florida).

Criminal#58369 make sure 1000 watts is enough to power everything you need.
