buterfly help
i just got a raccon buterfly from a friend that could not keep him... what should i feen them?

They are generally not that picky once they start feeding.
If it doesn't eat on your first try, you could tempt with an anemone like they said but you could also try a cracked open mussel or clam. They will also take live brine shrimp or black worms. Once they start feeding they will eat pretty much anything, possibly even flake food. Variety is the key.

Yep, I agree with JamesJr..
My Raccoon is a PIG! I ordered him 2 years ago. When he arrived and I opened the bag to see him, he poked his little nose right out of the bag So cute He ate on arrival . He was a little picky at first, some things he wouldn't eat . But he eats pretty much everything now. Some good foods for your Raccoon [all frozen] Angel and Butterfly Formula Marine Cuisine Emerald Entree Mysis Shrimp Enriched Brine Shrimp Prime Reef Formula one Formula Two Clams Krill I am sure there are others Also, mine LOVES algae strips! Gets them everyday. Even fights the Tangs for it Good luck...BTW, I hope you don't have corals in that tank...they are not Reefsafe!
