ASM Questions

Hey all you ASM experts out there. I have 2 ASM G3's in my 100gal sump for my 125. I recently raised the water level up really high, almost up to the cone where the cup attaches. They still seem to be working well but does anyone know if this has a negative effect? Second, they have been running for about a year now, is there any type of cleaning or MX that should be done to them? I did the gate vavle mod to both and now am considering the recirc mod. What do ya'll think?

Sorry, but just for clearifcation... you rasied water level in slump? or in skimmer.

The water level in the sump. I think they are working good, I have to have my gate valves open almost all the way to keep the foam half way up.
