How long is sufficient for WC?

How long after you mix fresh saltwater is sufficient time to do a water change?

I usually mix the water at night then do the water change the next day, but i want to do a water change today but i didnt mix the water last night. So i was wondering if 5 hours is sufficient mixing time before doing the WC.
BTW I use Instant Ocean.
Thanks all

I have always heard 24 hours ... i mix enough for 4 weeks worth of changes at a time and so it sits for at least a week.

May need to mix longer--make sure it's clear and test your ph.

if aerate it sufficiently you can use it the same day, but if possible let it sit for a bit.
