CHoices on pump

Hi,
i am starting on a 50gallon long tank, and i cant make up my mind on which kind of return pump i should get. In the tank im going to have 2 seio 820. I have been offered a rio 12, 32,26 HF. A sedra 12000, and a QO 4000 and 3000 for a pretty cheap price, but i cant make up my mind. Help plz!!!
thanks

imo stay away from rio's if you've got another option. I just had my 3rd rio pump die on me 3 days ago. It was the 600H or something like that. I think it only did 660 gph but still...thats the 3rd one i've had die and ive only had tanks for the past year. At 35 bucks a pump or whatever it is...i'd rather pay more for a stronger/better one in the future. (oh, and all those pumps were less than 6 months old)

Dont know nothin about the sedra's, but i've only heard good things about the quiet ones.

my sedra that's on my skimmer is very loud, not sure if the same thing goes for the non needlewheel ones.
i've also heard of quite ones pumps have problems with restarting.

check out magdrives and eheims, eheims are more expensive but worth it.

well on a return pump you shouldnt have to worry about having to restart the pump a whole lot except for on the rare occasion that there is a power outage. But its not like you're gonna have a return pump on a wave maker timer or anything, so i wouldnt worry about the restarting problem imo...you shouldnt be turning it on and off to begin with.
